F Bombs and Prayer

It’s no secret that I drop F bombs quite frequently. I truly enjoy the word, feel it’s necessary at times and I use it wisely. I also, use prayer.

I know this sounds like an oxymoron and maybe it is. But both fill my soul.

Knowing I can speak to God directly about my fears and my blessings is an amazing thing. I really don’t think he cares if there’s an F bomb in my daily language. Just like I am sure he could care less if I sing off key or fart!

An appropriate cuss word placed just right in a sentence is almost poetic. Not angry words, but just run of the mill sentences that need that little extra kick! You know, a way to bring how you feel right on home!

But if anger is where you’re headed then an F bomb is needed. Most definitely. A stubbed toe, food that burns your mouth or the horrible experience of stepping in a fresh pile of dog 💩! Bring out the F#&k all day long!

In general I think most people swear at least a few times in their lives. I have heard it said that those who use profanity are actually very intelligent. My mother would have said you could always find a better word than a cuss word, but I have to disagree with Momma on this score. I truly believe there a great number of times that swearing like a sailor is allowed, if not, necessary.

I find great joy in using words descriptively. I’ve been told I have an “old” and “strange” vocabulary. Randomly making up words and phrases as they suit me. However, a well placed swear word can simply cleanse a soul!

Of course I use some discretion. Small children being around and all that and I attempt to be professional when the need calls for it. But if you know me and spend any time with me at all you will be awarded with my filthy mouth from time to time. Embrace it. Enjoy it. Because I don’t share that part of myself with just anyone. That’s inner circle stuff right there. The cream in the middle if you will.

And if you ever need someone to pray for you I’m your Fu€!¥ng girl! Just say the word! 😜

Everyone needs this in their life.

And on the flip side of that I am an avid prayer warrior. I am a very complex creature. I have never claimed to be perfect and never will. God created perfect people but sin took hold and we’ve been flawed ever since. And he loves us anyway.

Coming to Him in prayer is all about my relationship. It’s personal and intimate as everyone’s should be. But it requires work. That’s where prayer comes in. It’s my one on one with God and it’s just between us.

I pray daily and for those I care about. I make it a mission to actually keep a list of those I pray for. It’s important to me, and honestly I do not think God cares about how often I say a word that humans have deemed a swear word. So I will keep being me and doing what I do, as everyone should.

You do you boo.
